3D Print Views
I used a 3D printer back in high school and I was so amazed at the amount of different things it can create. As I continue to use a 3D printer in college I become more amazed. The 3D printer can create almost anything you could think of. 3D printing could be a good idea to be integrated into classrooms for a many of different reasons. Students are able to do hands on projects by using technology. They can bring their designs to life. Also there are many different types of projects you can do based on the subject the teacher is working on. You could explore geometry by printing 3D models or teaching fractions by printing pie shapes.

Internet Safety Reflection
I found this presentation to be quite interesting. After listening to the presentation I found out that I learned more than I thought I would. There were many topics he discussed that raised awareness such as child exploitation. I also learned how we help other countries with their child exploitation. I also found it interesting if someone from the United States commits a crime in Canada the United States has no responsibility of dealing with that person because it did not happen in our country. I think that the presentation was entertaining. He was really engaged with our class rather than just sitting there lecturing. I liked the idea of the trading cards with other students because it helps the younger kids learn more about internet safety as well. It makes it want to be a topic of conversation between the young kids trading the cards. I also thought the activity on splitting the the class into two and trying to figure out who was the one who committed a crime was interesting. How mostly all the people on the left were teachers.

Monday Morning: Lelia (teacher) on the phone with friend talking about what she did over the weekend. She starts off by telling her friend that they went to a club and she got so drunk that she passed out and one of her friends took a funny picture of her in booth slumped over drunk with throw up all over her dress.
Brooke (student) was eavesdropping on Lelia (teacher) conversation with her friend and went and told her friends what Ms.Fekete did over the weekend. As a student to a teacher you always are trying to find out about your teachers outside life. So Brooke and her friends went home that night and decided to google Ms.Fekete on facebook and found her. She was not private so they could see all her information. And there it was Ms. Fekete drunk passed out in booth slumped over drunk with throw up all over her dress.
Brooke decides to print off a hundred copies of this picture of her teacher and plaster them all down the halls.
Ethan (principal) is walking down the halls and stops. He takes a few steps back and looks to his left at the picture on the wall. He rips it down and marches back to his office.
He gets back to the office and slams his door. Immediately you hear a page for Ms.Fekete to come to the office.
Lelia hears the page and looks confused. She places her things down and heads to the office. She knocks on the Principal’s door and opens it slowly.
Ethan has his back to the door and spins his chair around to look at Lelia. He looks disappointed. He says “ Take a seat Lelia. Are you aware of the pictures on the wall throughout the school?”
Lelia responds “No… What are you talking about?”
Ethan flips the picture over facing upward and pushes the picture towards her.
Lelia picks the picture up and inspects it. She places it back on the desk and puts her head down in shame.
Ethan says “Do you understand the consequences of this picture?”
Lelia mumbles “I think I do.”
Ethan says “You are supposed to be leading by example in our school system, and this behavior will not be tolerated in my school. I’m sorry, but I’m going to have to let you go.”
Ending scene: Lelia, Ethan, Brooke all sit in a row and state facts about internet safety and the importance of keeping your profiles private and being careful of what you post.
Brooke: “ 71% of teachers use Fagaragecebook daily for personal use.”
Lelia: “It is important to keep your professional life and private life separate. Be careful of what you post, because you never know the impact it will have.”
Ethan: “It’s important to make sure that you keep your privacy settings on and be careful for what you post.”

Digital Citizenship
I found this presentation very important to be given to future teachers. It was important to give to future teachers because we can learn what is right and what is wrong from being put out on the internet as a teacher. For an example in my high school I formed many close bonds with many teachers and would always be like friend me on facebook, snapchat, and instagram and they would always be like I can’t and that it's against the rules as a teacher of a student to follow a student on their social media. After learning more about digital citizenship, I see why it is not right to follow a student on social media. A teacher's life and job can be ruined in a second through social media. Like described in the powerpoint a teacher lost her job because of a picture that went viral of her on facebook that she never thought would have caused a problem.
Another thing I learned from the powerpoint is how plagiarism has to be stressed endlessly throughout school. Many children need to be taught at a young age how severe plagiarism actually is. Stealing another person's work and using for yourself is not ok. Throughout my school years I was always taught to cite my work. In high school, I did a senior project in which I had to do a symposium on a 1,000 page book I had to read and then do a history research project which requires lots of citing and using footnotes. I think from doing this project I was taught well how important it is to cite one's work. Also it made my grow as an individual because it made me dig deeper into the information and how I can change it to be more of my work than the authors.
